FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION

EV3 Workshop for Kids:
On February 9th, Aryaman, Aadit and Kabir from our team held a robotics workshop for eager children at The Tanamera Condominium. Their aim was to teach as many children about Robotics, through a relatable aspect of their lives - LEGO. About 25 children attended the workshop. Not only did our team promote STEM through enlightening them about FRC and other FIRST competitions including FLL, the LEGO League in which EV3s are employed, but also enriched their young minds through teaching them about basic EV3 code and block programming, and its uses in smaller LEGO robots. The children also observed the robot’s movement and were able to write their own and implement it themselves. The session ended with a small contest between two teams of 10 each. Despite our upcoming exams and health alerts around Singapore, the event remained successful!
